Here's the latest round-up of news about 2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE release date, specs and price.

Chevrolet utilized different car technologies on V-6 and V-8 versions of the 1LE package, with the V-8 obviously being the more track-ready of the two. However, that doesn't mean V-6 is less powerful. Camaro's chief engineer Al Oppenheiser stated that V-6 1LE is actually more powerful than the previous version of 1LE - a car equipped with the 6.2-liter LS3 V-8.

Powered with 55-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, the Camaro LT 1LE is built to be the most track-capable sports car. Moreover, it has installed FE3 suspension, rear cradle mounts, ball-joint rear toe links and stabilizer bars to help increase the car's handling prowess, TopSpeed published.

Furthermore, the V-6 model is equipped with front four-piston Brembo brakes, standard dual mode exhaust system and track cooling package. In addition, its Camaro SS fuel system is great for higher-load cornering capabilities.

Outside, the V-6 package has 20-inch forged aluminum wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, which have an impressive grip on the track. To make it more sophisticated, the car has high flow on upper and lower grille with satin black accents.

For the interior, it offers Recaro seats, suede steering wheel and shorter-throw shifter

With these excellent features, Camaro LT 1LE provides "unmatched capability in its class," Oppenheiser told in Chevrolet's official website.

On the other hand, 2017 Camaro SS 1LE has 6.2L LT1 V8 that produces 455 horsepower. The V-8 model steps things up even more than the V-6 model. In addition to the cooling package and exhaust system, the V-8 model boasts an E4 suspension system with magnetic ride control and electronic limited-slip differential with 3.73 ratio . Plus, it is equipped with six-piston Brembo front brakes and four-piston Brembo rear brakes.

Additionally, the package sports a 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with meatier Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar rubber. Inside, the driver has comfortable Recaro front seats.

It is also interesting to note that the 2017 Camaro 1LE SS has no issues when pulling over 1G in lateral acceleration.

Chevrolet said the 2017 Camaro 1LE models would become available in late 2016, as the Camaro transitions to the 2017 model year, as per reports from GM Authority.
