2016 Grammy Awards: Tyga Responds to Denying Paul McCartney, Beck and Taylor Hawkins to Join After-Party [Video]

Rapper Tyga recently took to Twitter to clarify the issue about not allowing music superstars Beck, Paul McCartney and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins into his post-2016 Grammy Awards bash. According to the artist, he wasn't aware that the trio were there and has no control over who can be allowed to join the party.

News about the denial of entry was first reported by TMZ after it was able to capture a video of the three standing outside The Argyle nightclub in Los Angeles. As shown in the clip, the three, along with actor Woody Harrelson were about to enter the venue but the bouncer did not allow them to go in.

"How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit, guys. Work on it," the Beatles member joked to Beck.

Then, for about a minute, McCartney and Harrelson negotiated with the bouncers while Beck and Hawkins laughed about the matter behind them. Still joking about what just happened, the group walked back to their car and left The Argyle.

According to U.S. Weekly, they decided to head over to Republic Records' own party at the Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails.

"Paul McCartney literally danced the night away with his wife Nancy. So adorable," a source said according to Entertainment Tonight. "And he was surrounded by Beck, Woody Harrelson and Taylor Hawkins. The song that got him up dancing was 'FourFiveSeconds.'"

Of course, being megastars in their own respective entertainment fields, being denied to partake in a post-Grammy's bash became a huge issue. Many social media users then targeted Tyga, who's reportedly the host of the party The Argyle, for not allowing Paul McCartney and the stars that he's with from joining the celebrations.

In his defense, the rapper fired off a couple of tweets explaining what happened.

"Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it," he posted. "He's a legend."

Tyga then noted that he wasn't away that McCartney and his group were at the door and immediately left the venue after performing.

"I don't control the door," he added. "I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left."
