Rise of the Tomb Raider DLC Release Date on PlayStation, Xbox and PC; Plus Game Reviews and Update

Good news for players who are waiting for the third DLC of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Game developer Crystal Dynamics officially announces the release of date of the forthcoming expansion pack for this month. Cold Darkness Awakened is scheduled to be available on March 29, 2016 for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Cold Darkness Awakened DLC will take Lara Craft to an abandoned research base in Siberia that was operational during the Cold War. The game's heroine is tasked to shut it down once again, as there are rumors that the base is infested with legions of "nightmarish predators." The said creature can inflict violence to intruders in any possible way they can, as per reports from IGN.

The game developer also announced that the upcoming DLC will be the final expansion set of the action-adventure game. December last year, gamers received the Endurance Mode DLC, and Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch DLC became available in January 2016.

For interested buyers, Cold Darkness Awakened can be obtained in one of two ways. The DLC can be bought as à la carte for just $10 in Stream, Xbox Marketplace and Windows Store. For players who want to have all of the expansion packs of Rise of the Tomb Raider, they can buy the game's Season Pass for $30. The bundle includes all of the three DLCs.

Furthermore, Game Rant published Rise of the Tomb Raider has been marked down to $45 as part of Microsoft's Spring Sale. For Xbox Live Gold members, the game is only 39$. With discounted price, now is the best time to purchase one of the best video games of 2015. Gamers have to hurry up, the deal will end on March 28.

As for the release date of Rise of the Tomb Raider to PlayStation consoles, Sony has not yet revealed any details. We'll give you updates once the gaming company announces any new information.
