The final episode of the seventh season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has just finished taping but cast member Jacqueline Laurita still continues to refuse to work with the show. Even though she's already in danger of getting fired, it seems the housewife is still refusing to back down.
Earlier this week, the last episode of the show's latest season entered into production on Wednesday and focused on the fashion show organized by Melissa Gorga. But, given Laurita's on-going feud with costars Gorga and Teresa Giudice, the former chose not to attend the event and the filming.
Although the rest of the cast have no problems participating in the event, it seems Laurita is still dwelling on what happened between her and Robyn Levy during the cast member's trip to Vermont, where the two almost got into a physical altercation, NJ.com reported.
"Jacqueline thinks she can just call the shots regarding fulfilling filming requirements," a source close to the show told In Touch Weekly. "Melissa's fashion show will be the grand finale event for the upcoming season of RHONJ and all of the ladies will be there."
"Since the fallout of the trip to Vermont, Jacqueline has bailed on filming with Robyn, Teresa and Melissa," the insider added.
Her actions, of course, didn't sit well with the producers of the show. According to sources, the producers are furious with Laurita's absence because aside from not being there, she waited until the last minute to inform everyone that she will not be able to make it at the event.
"[TV Network] Bravo obviously wants and needs Jacqueline to be there on Wednesday night because it will be the first time everyone will be together since the trip to Vermont," the source said. "By not showing up, Jacqueline will jeopardize not having those moments on camera."
"Viewers will definitely want to see the aftermath and how Jacqueline handles herself," the insider added.
Despite her absence on Wednesday, it seems the producers are willing to give Laurita another show by extending the filming of the season finale until Monday of next week. If, however, she still refuses to show up, then it could be the end of her career on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."
