The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards is all set to begin this weekend to celebrate the biggest names in the country music scene. And, like every year, predictions are already starting to pour in for this year's winners.

This year's ACM Awards will happen on April 3 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Those looking to watch the event may do so through their televisions or through the CBS All Access live stream.

Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will be hosting the awards show, and fans can expect to see live performances from various major country artists such as Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Charles Kelley and Blake Shelton.

In total, this year's awards show will feature 20 categories. Some of these include Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, New Male Vocalist of the Year and New Female Vocalist of the Year.

Of course, like in every awards show, there are a few fan favorites that are expected to bring home this year's trophies for the various categories.

As noted by Taste of Country, some of those predicted to win include Eric Church for the Entertainer of the Year award. Although he will be going up against a few heavyweights such as Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert and Bryan, Church has managed to build a strong relationship with country music fans through his live performances and latest album, "Mr. Misunderstood." These could translate into votes for the artist which would greatly help him in securing the award for this category.

Another possible winner in the upcoming event is Joey + Rory as Vocal Duo of the Year. In this category, they will be going up against Maddie & Tae, the Florida Georgia Line, Brothers Osborne and Dan + Shay. But, even though some of these artists had better radio success than Joey + Rory, the duo still managed to produce a very inspiring album even though Joey Martin Freek lost her battle to cancer.
