Stacy Snider, 20th Century Fox Co-chairman, confirmed the sequel of Deadpool is in the development. It will still feature Ryan Reynolds and the same creative team that worked on the first movie. Director Tim Miller is also returning to the film with writers Paul Wernick and Rhet Reese handling the script duties. Now, here's what is already known about Deadpool 2 premiere date, cast and spoilers.

Fox already confirmed the second Deadpool movie at CinemaCon 2016. In a Variety report, the American film studio said the entire team behind the previous blockbuster movie will be back. However, fans will need to be patient for the exact premiere date of the sequel. Fox did not make any specific announcement yet about Deadpool 2's release date, but confirming the second movie is enough to make fans more excited.

The upcoming sequel will feature Cable in the film. If you did not finish the first Deadpool movie until the end of the credits, there is a bonus clip featuring Deadpool hinting Cable's presence for the second movie. The studio also announced that the mutant will be there. According to Independent, screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhet Reese revealed bits of information about Cable's role in the sequel. They said that the gun-slinging antihero will offer an opportunity to provide another cool but different foil for Deadpool.

"There's a lot of fun in that he's very serious and he does take on more serious weighty issues than Deadpool's used to taking on, so I think there's a juxtaposition there that can be fun," Reese added.

Additionally, IGN reported that Stephen Lang might appear as Cable in the sequel. The 63-year-old actor posted a photo of himself on Twitter while working out. He ended the post with a hashtag "#Deadpool". However, his appearance in the movie is still not yet confirmed.

Furthermore, the screenwriters also revealed in a HitFix report that they do not want more money for Deadpool 2. Screenwriter Wernick said that they only want $50 million for the sequel. He also said that the movie is only about a character who is just trying to make his way in the world, and they will going to continue it.

The first Deadpool movie earned more than $757.3 million worldwide. It is said to be the highest-grossing R-rated film. The movie also helped Ryan Reynold's career to be rejuvenated after having flops from the movies "Green Lantern" and "RIPD".
