As the twin Pokemon games are on their way to gaming shelves, fans are still clamoring for information about Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. The companies behind the said pair of games remain silent. However, some fans believe that there will be new legendary Pokemons in both games. Now, here's the latest round-up of update about Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon release date and update.

The speculations started when CoroCoro Magazine was expected to release information about Pokemon Sun and Moon in their April issue. However, Neurogadget reported that the said magazine put a blank box art of the game, and stated that they will reveal more information in May issue. Fans were disappointed in the publication, but it never stop them to know something about the upcoming Pokemon games. They try to decipher clues from the box. One of them is a YouTuber known as TyranitarTube. He used his Photoshop skills but he was still not able to find anything.

The Youtube user also came up with a theory about new legendary Pokémons that will appear in Pokemon Sun and Moon. He said that they might be mega-evolutions of Lugia and Ho-Oh from Pokemon Silver and Gold versions. Lugia is known to be tied to the moon, while Ho-Oh is known to be tied to the Sun. Therefore, there is a high chance that TyranitarTube's theory might be right.

Furthermore, there are also rumors that there will be ten new and mysterious Pokemons. According to a Movie Pilot report, a NeoGAF user known as Watch Da Berdie has seen a clue on the names of the new legendary Pokemons. The user came across two entries listed by Pokemon's developer, Game Freak. These two entries are named Solgaleo and Lunaala. These names are fit with the 'Sun and Moon' theme of the upcoming pair of Pokemon games. Fans are speculating that the names are alluding to a Spanish setting. If the names are translated, 'luna' means moon, 'ala' means wing, 'sol' means sun,and 'leon' means lion.

However, Pokemon news website Serebii stated that the two names listed are not from Game Freak. It was from a person named Yusuke Inui, who is an IP lawyer in Japan.

Readers are advised to take the details above with a proverbial pinch of salt. Developer Game Freak and Pokemon Company have not yet confirmed or denied any information so far.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are expected to be launched during the holiday season of 2016.
