The Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers had respectively secured the first two top picks for the upcoming NBA draft event. And, based on these two teams' positions, it seems these two might do a bit of trading to get the players that they want.

With the No.1 and 2 positions now belonging to the 76ers and Lakers, fans can expect that these franchise will go for this year's highly sought after prospects, specifically Brandon Ingram and Ben Simmons, Inquisitr reported.

Any of these players can quickly bolster the roster of these teams. But, instead of battling it out to get either player, these two teams can work out a deal that would be beneficial for everyone.

For instance, this deal could involve Jahlil Okafor, the current center of Philadelphia. With this player in made, the Lakers could arrange a trade with the 76ers to acquire him. In exchange, the LA franchise could give their No. 2 slot to the 76ers.

If both teams agree to this deal, then LA will be able to secure Okafor while Philadelphia will be able to sign both Ingram and Simmons.

Of course, it's still too early to say if these two teams will really carry out with this trade deal. Lakers could leave Okafor alone and let the 76ers choose between the two draft prospects.

As speculated by NBA.com, Philadelphia might go for Ingram due to the team's great need to secure a scorer and someone who has impeccable ball-handling skills. Aside from these, the young athlete's versatility in the perimeter and above the rim will surely be a great addition to the team.

If Philadelphia goes for Ingram, that means the Lakers will most likely draft Simmons.

As for the other NBA teams, the Boston Celtics is expected to take the third draft spot and will most likely use its position to get Dragan Bender. Following the Celtics is the Phoenix Suns which is expected to draft Jaylen Brown.

For the fifth spot in the draft, that position is expected to go to the Minnesota Timberwolves. This would give the team the opportunity to secure Buddy Hield.
