Developer Niantic previously confirmed Pokémon GO will become available in more than 200 countries. After the game became accessible in Japan and Hong Kong, many gamers believe it will also land on other Asian countries. Now, here's the latest round-up of update about Pokemon Go release date in Philippines, India, South Korea and Brazil.

As of now, Pokémon GO is accessible in more than 35 countries across the globe. Niantic recently launched the game in Brazil, just in time for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. For other countries, they are still waiting for new announcements from the Nintendo and Niantic.

Interestingly, a major mobile carrier from Philippines recently announced its support for Pokémon Go, as per report from Inquirer. Smart Communications said it will be giving its subscribers 7 days of free data to access Pokemon Go upon the launch of hit mobile game in the Philippines.

The upcoming promo of Smart Communications is good news for Pokémon fans. It means the game won't take long before it becomes accessible in the Philippines.

In South Korea, creators of Pokémon Go are finding it hard to release the game in the country because of restrictions imposed by South Korean government. However, gamers can access the augmented reality game in the city of Sokcho, which is just a two-hour bus ride away from Seoul. In addition, it is possible access to the game in Busan, which is located in the southeast corner of the Korean peninsula.

A report from The Huffington Post says about 410,000 South Koreans are actively playing the game, and this figure increases daily. The publication also claims Pokémon Go will be released in the whole of South Korea sooner or later.

In India, on the other hand, rumors around the internet claim developers from Niantic are now working hard to release Pokémon Go in India before the month of August ends. It is also reported that the country is now listed in the game's server list. Several tech website predict the game will be launched in India before the country's Independence Day on Aug. 15.

Pokémon Go has been downloaded for more than 100 million times since its launching on July 6. For people who can't download the game on App Store and Google Play, they use VPN (Virtual Private Networks) and APK files.
