Jeremy Vuolo finally proposed to Jinger Duggar on the latest episode of TLC’s ‘Counting On.’

The ex-professional soccer player popped the question only after a few months of courting Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughter. The proposal was carried out on a rooftop in New York City, and the couple was serenaded with religious music played through a guitar and a cello.

Speaking about his relationship, Jeremy opened up about seeking a “godly woman,” similar to his mother and grandmother. In turn, Jinger referred to her beau as her “best friend,” “the most amazing person” and a “gift from God.”

After Jeremy went down on one knee, Jinger instantly said “yes.”

'You shocked me… I had no clue… I thought it would be at least another month and a half,' the 23-year-old reality star said.

Jinger has made the headlines for the past weeks for being on a “fast track” courtship with the former athlete.

“This woman who I love and want to spend the rest of my life with is now my fiancée,” Jeremy happily said as his partner accepted. "I love you with all my heart," he added.

Jinger also gushed about the chosen location.

“It was incredible, you could see this beautiful rainbow and the sunset, you couldn't have asked for a better setting,” she said.

The ‘Counting On’ also admired her ring, saying: “Not too bling, bling…something simple.”

Prior to the surprise proposal, Jeremy took his fiancé to the Lower East Side to have coffee while a Korean BBQ was set to follow.

Days before, the couple had been spending time with Jeremy's family, both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, “to see some of his old stomping grounds,” as Jinger pointed out.

The duo also headed to the lake for some kayaking time, with Jinger taking a break from the traditional dress and dressing into long shorts for the activity.

Next, it was time to visit Jeremy’s grandparents in New Jersey.

“Jinger has already been corresponding with Jeremy's grandparents, so she has a head start,” Jinger’s sister, Jessa, said.

'Grandma was so precious…that connection and bond was so deep,' Jinger happily said.

After looking through old baby photos and cooking Italian food, Jeremy and Jinger went out for a soccer game to meet his old friends.

“I guess pro soccer is a really big deal now,” Jessa remarked.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Duggars were busy in Arkansas with Jana and Joy having a “family meeting,” with which they were attempting to make the proper renovations for the guest house to welcome Jill and Derick Dillard.

Their sister and her husband were bound for home, returning from their mission work in El Salvador. Even Anna, wife of their brother Josh, was present to help out.

Josh, who had to deal with his Ashley Madison scandal and faced accusations of molesting his younger sisters as a teenager, has not been featured on the show since such controversies were made public.

“Jana has been such a rock,” said Anna. “She will make an amazing wife one day but selfishly, for right now, I'm so thankful that I've had her as a shoulder to cry on.”

‘Counting On’ season 2 airs every Tuesday on TLC.
