Marvel and Netflix’s partnership has certainly yielded its fair share of hits in recent times, and it does look as though the good times will continue to roll. What are we talking about? There are a few more Netflix offerings from Marvel that are set to keep viewers glued to the screen, where among them include the likes of The Punisher and Iron Fist, while further developments in the Daredevil Season 3 and Jessica Jones Season 2 series will all work together and probably culminate in The Defenders.

We have also not forgotten about Luke Cage, and the second season of Luke Cage might bring together the team up which fans have long been on the lookout for -- where it will comprise of Luke Cage (Mike Colter in this role) and Claire Temple (played by Rosario Dawson). The Marvel canon on Luke Cage will also see this impervious superhero alongside Jessica Jones, with the first season of the Netflix series encouraging a possibility with Claire Temple.

Inverse, a media outlet has also reported that Luke Cage does seem to have his romantic interest firmly cemented in Claire Temple. After all, Luke Cage Season 1 in the Netflix series is supposedly a front where the stage is being set up between Luke and Claire Temple over a coffee date.

According to A.V. Club, Claire Temple is a mighty fine addition to Luke Cage, while media outlet Now You're Mine claims that Claire Temple was at her finest in the first season of Luke Cage. Of course, kudos to Marvel for making the Claire Temple character extremely relatable and very remarkable right from the get go which is not something that is easy to achieve unless you have all of the different elements working together -- chemistry between the actors, a strong script and of course, visionary directing.

Season 2 of Luke Cage might see a Luke and Claire Temple romance blossom, and things do have a chance of getting messy when a love triangle develops with Jessica Jones entering the picture to boot. Will Marvel kill off Claire Temple? Hopefully not, as this would prove to be a big blow to fans.

From what we know, Den of Geek claims that Jessica Jones Season 2 could be made available some time in late 2018, which would mean somewhere around November or December a couple of years down the road. This would translate to a whole lot of patience required before the superheroine appears in our living room screens, although there are others who believe that Jones could appear in Iron Fist instead. Iron Fist is slated for a premier on March 2017, and is another step in the right direction to introduce the future team-up that will be depicted in The Defenders.

As for The Punisher, Digital Trends claims that Ben Barnes could star as Bobby Saint. Bobby Saint would be a crime boss and the main antagonist in the series to Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle. With the different kinds of Marvel series on Netflix being connected to one another, there will be premiere after premiere, with The Punisher slated for a debut after Jessica Jones Season 2 and The Defenders.
