Although current UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has consistently bashed the WWE universe, there's a chance that his next fight might be inside a professional wrestling ring. According to his agent, there's a possibility that McGregor will appear in a WWE match soon.

Keeping true to his Octagon persona, McGregor has always been very vocal about his opinions. These include his perception of WWE, which he has consistently referred to in a derogatory manner.

In fact, in August of this year, he started a Twitter war with some of WWE's legendary stars such as Kurt Angle and Rick Flair. This started after the UFC fighter claimed that he could beat up the wrestling entertainment company's entire roster.

"I didn't mean no disrespect to the @WWE fans," he tweeted. "What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sundays."

"@TheNotoriusMMA @WWE very funny little guy," Angle responded. "Why don't you get your head out of Dana White's ass?"

Flair, on the other hand, criticized McGregor for copying his flamboyant persona during fights.

Despite the stark relationship between McGregor and the WWE, it seems both parties have not yet closed the door to the opportunity of working together.
Recently, the UFC champ's agent Audie Attar admitted that his client is willing to entertain an invitation from the WWE to appear on its show. But, as noted by Attar, this will only happen as long as the WWE is willing to make a proper offer.

"I think it's all about business, man," he told ESPN's 5ive Rounds podcast. "If [WWE] is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people. Which is me. We can have a conversation."

If the McGregor does agree to work with WWE, then the company will most likely schedule his appearances in one of its high-profile pay-per-views. Specifically, if this happens, then WWE fans can surely expect to see the UFC fighter appear at WrestleMania 33, which is scheduled to take place on April 2, 2017.
