The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: New Gameplay To Be Showcased This Week

Nov 30, 2016 09:09 AM EST

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one game that just about everyone is holding their breath for -- although we would all probably turn blue in our faces and faint before it is released. So far, there has been no official release date attached to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild just yet, although there has been speculation that it might just see action some time in March 2017. Surely fans of the Zelda franchise would want something to tide them by at least until the release of the game on the Nintendo Switch (and on the Nintendo Wii U, of course). Well, we are glad to bring you word that everyone will be able to check out more new gameplay that hails from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild later this week.

The new gameplay will be revealed at the Video Game Awards that is happening later this week. To be more exact, the Video Game Awards will kick off this Thursday on December 1st, and you can be sure that the brand new gameplay video from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be analyzed from all angles and quarters, dissected with glee as to what else will be part of the game, and what other kinds of gameplay mechanics, new characters, as well as settings that we might be able to discover or uncover.

To date on an official basis, Nintendo has just revealed but a single segment of the game that certainly showed off the game in its lush detail with a verdant look, not to mention that Link will be forced to cook in order to survive in the great wilderness, with some pretty interesting descriptions to boot. Perhaps the latest gameplay video will reveal more stuff that will hopefully wow us -- not that we are not wowed already, of course.

It was at the 2015 Video Game Awards that showed off a rather detailed segment of the lush area, which was then playable over at E3. Of course, the expectations this time around will weigh a bit more. It has been close to half a year since we have been starved of any additional footage from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and certainly anything will do at this point in time.

As for the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it is still pretty much up in the air. According to Eurogamer, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will not make it in time for the Nintendo Switch console’s introduction next March, which would certainly dash the hopes of many. Well, better to have it released slightly later while it oozes with perfection compared to rushing it out just to meet the expectations on fans for a release, only to disappoint them and perhaps turn them off as it arrives riddled with bugs and glitches.

What are the things that you would like to see in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild when it finally hits the market?
