Something good happened in one of the concerts of "American Idol" alum Fantasia Barrino. Fans of the R&B singer and songwriter expected the usual concert but it quickly turned into something more when Fantasia passionately sang a worship song and the concert felt like a worship service.

In one of her concert in Florida, Fantasia Barrino sang her own version of "Abba", a song penned by Bethel artists Jonathan and Melissa Helser. There are several videos circulating online of the very honest and heartfelt rendition of the song by Fantasia. During the song, Fantasia asked her audience to raise their hands and worship Jesus. At one point while singing, Fantasia even got down on her knees in worship.

Fantasia gave a timely reminder to her audience just before singing "Abba", as reported by CBN.

"There's so much going on in the world today. But you must understand it is God who is your president. He's the only man you should put your trust in. Why are we acting crazy? You better chase and seek after Him. What happened to praying for your sister and your brother? Nobody does that anymore. Learn how to pray for your sister and your brother," she states.

But Fantasia also had some critics who questioned her after seeing the performance. She drew flak for her outfit that night, with some saying her outfit was nothing more than a bathing suit and is not appropriate. Some also criticized her actions. In her Facebook page, some followers of hers are commenting that Fantasia should not mix singing secular songs and then invite God to be in their presence.

Fantasia has earlier stated that she plans to use her status as a celebrity and singer to spread the Gospel. She has had her ups and downs after she won the third season of "American Idol". Her house almost got foreclosed and she had an abortion and even a suicide attempt in 2010. She has been able to overcome this period in her life and is thankful that God has brought her back on track.

The much-talked about concert is part of Fantasia's "The Definition Of" tour.
