Rumors have been part of the wrestling community ever since the internet was born. Fans want to know what the potential plans of the WWE moving forward are and they scour the World Wide Web for it. Here are the latest rumors regarding Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Jinder Mahal and more.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman at Extreme Rules

According to a report by Cageside Seats, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman are expected to face each other one more time at Extreme Rules. Reigns and Strowman have two clean wins over the other and they need one final match to determine who the better superstar is.

The report noted that the match at Extreme Rules will have a stipulation and it could be an Ambulance Match. Strowman has been beating up Reigns on and near an ambulance several times so it makes sense to have that kind of match.

Also, an Ambulance Match helps keep Reigns strong if ever the WWE decides to put Strowman over. "The Monster Among Men" is linked to a WWE Universal title match against Brock Lesnar before SummerSlam and he needs to be booked as a monster while not sacrificing Reigns' momentum.

Reigns defeated Strowman at Fastlane before retiring The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33. Strowman got his mojo back by badly beating Reigns several weeks on Raw. He then went on to defeat "The Big Dog" at Payback this past Sunday.

Jinder Mahal to win WWE Title at Backlash?

Randy Orton is set to defend his WWE championship at Backlash against Jinder Mahal, who surprised a lot of fans by becoming the No. 1 contender. Mahal was pushed as a top heel to help the WWE's expansion in India where the company recently put up an office and a fan shop.

"The Maharajah" has had the upper hand on "The Viper" in the past couple of weeks leading to several rumors about him winning the WWE title. According to Aaron Sass of WrestlingRumors.Net, Mahal is not currently penciled in to win the championship.

However, plans could still change and the WWE might decide to put the title around Mahal to even boost their sales in India. The company tends to change their plans on a regular basis and they will surely go back-and-forth with the final decision hours before the Backlash event on May 21.

Brock Lesnar's schedule

Ever since winning the WWE Universal championship at WrestleMania 33 and appearing the next night on Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar has been absent on WWE television. He is on his usual vacation as he is on a part-timer's contract.

The current situation has left a lot of fans unhappy that the biggest prize in the company has not been defended. However, it seems like "The Beast" is going to be back on television sooner rather than later. He is expected to have a match at SummerSlam in August but he might come earlier to face Strowman.

According to Wrestle Zone, Lesnar is going to have his first title defense at the Great Balls of Fire event in July in Dallas. He is also expected to face the likes of Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and Jeff Hardy during his title reign.

Update on Lana's new gimmick

"The Ravishing Russian" might be dropping her accent en route to her new gimmick, per PW Mania. Lana has reportedly been given the "Emmalina" gimmick, as evidenced by her vignettes for the past several weeks.

Lana is also training hard at the WWE Performance Center to improve her wrestling skills. She's been wrestling at NXT Live Events and she could make her debut soon on SmackDown Live. She is also going to be separated from her husband Rusev on television but the company plans on pushing them both as solo acts.
