Light for the Lost, the Assemblies of God’s evangelism literature ministry, announced that its 51st annual convention will begin on April 23 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Orlando Florida.

The two-day convention will feature Prince Guneratnam, former general superintendent of Malaysia and senior pastor of the largest Pentecostal church in Malaysia, as its keynote speaker. Other speakers at the convention will include missionary to Cambodia Dareth Ly, missionary to Nigeria Scott Ennis, A/G Assistant General Superintendent Charles Crabtree and Light for the Lost Director Benny Ferguson.

"We are anticipating another incredible convention," says Ferguson. "Prince Guneratnam is an inspirational speaker and leader. I'm looking forward to seeing God move throughout the convention and in hearts and lives."

The highlight of the convention will be the traditional golf tournament for literature. To enter the tournament, participant will pay a $400 fee; just enough to buy 50 fire bibles.

"The tournament is a fun time, but it is really all about raising funds for Fire Bibles," Ferguson explains. "The entry fee for the tournament is 50 Fire Bibles.”

Other events at the convention include an early arrival dinner, a ladies luncheon on Friday, a Friday night banquet, a Gold Key breakfast on Saturday and the Saturday evening banquet.

The annual conventions and district tours are the sole source of income to the LFTL.
