HTC Launches New Smart Phone ''Desire U'' in Taiwan and China

HTC has released a new low-end, budget friendly smart phone called HTC Desire U, which is scheduled to arrive only in China and Taiwan for now.

HTC Desire U has a 4-inch, 800x480 pixel screen, a single core 1GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of memory storage, expandable via micro SD memory cards, and a 5-megapixel camera. It also comes with Beats Audio.

The device supports Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth 4.0, and is powered by Android 4.0. No information has been released about whether there will be an international version.
