Ardent Records' top rock band Skillet is named as a Christian artist that will rock you, whether you're a Christian or not, in the December issue of Seventeen magazine.
With a monthly circulation of more than 2.3 million, the general market publication providing teenage girls with the latest information on entertainment, fashion and life highlights the Christian Rock industry and its fans. Along with one of the genre's hottest bands, Skillet, other acts recognized include Delirious, Tobymac, Relient K, Katy Hudson, Superchic[k] and Mary Mary.
Over the last couple of years, Skillet has established itself as a core Christian Rock band reaching the youth culture, says Ardent president John Fry. Seventeen's notice is further evidence that the band's messages are relevant and appealing to an ever-widening audience.
