This year's Taiwanese Young Adult Life Renewal Meetings led by Pastor Stephen Tong have ended successfully. Five consecutive meetings were filled with blessings, where over 10,000 souls were touched by the Holy Spirit and repented in front of God, and their religious lives were renewed.

According to the Taiwanese Office of Pastor Tong's International Evangelistic Association, Pastor Tong held five life renewal meetings in the past weekend in the four cities of Taichung, Hsinchu, Kaoshiung, and Taiwan. The response was enthusiastic, with attendees amounting to over 15,000 people.

The theme of this Taiwan-wide tour of the Young Adult Life Renewal Meetings was "repentance". Pastor Simon Liu, the founder of Operation Dawn, was specially invited to share his miraculous testimony on his journey from being an addict to becoming a servant of God, which glorified the almighty God.

Another speaker invited was the modern day prodigal son, brother Liu Tsungyou. Brother Liu shared how during a time of rebellion against God while searching for the meaning of life, God led him back to His bosom in repentance through his faithful mother's prayers and the persevering prayers of his pastor.

Following the inspiring testimonies of the two guest speakers, Pastor Tong got on stage to improvise and lead the audience into the meeting's theme, and called on those present to honestly reflect on their deeds and motives in front of God, to encourage those present to repent.

Pastor Tong said: "How much man understand and become aware of sin is the key to living life. Why do so many youths not wake up from their sins? It is because they think that these are their rights and enjoyments, and misuse freedom to bring about spiritual suicide. What you need is awareness. God's work is to wake up your spirit, and thus you need the work of the Holy Spirit."

Pastor Tong encourages the audience to be touched deeply and to respond enthusiastically. According to statistics form the organizers, approximately 80 to 90% of people from each meeting stood up to declare their repentance, and to make known the work of the Holy Spirit.

Following the closing of the 2012 Taiwanese Young Adult Life Renewal Meetings, Pastor Tong embarked on another busy journey of servitude. This weekend (October 20th to 21st), Pastor Tong will be holding two evangelistic meetings at 6:30 pm each evening at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei. The organizers hope that we can pray on behalf of the meetings, and to invite relatives and friends to attend.
