Lausanne Committee for World Evangelism is sponsoring the Younger Leaders Gathering in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Sept. 25 to October 1, 2006. Four expected results are to inform, develop, inspire, and connect the 500 younger leaders from over 100 countries.

The specific focus group is on younger leaders between the ages of 25-35 who are already emerging as influential Christian leaders in churches, ministries, and the market place. They will gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in September 2006 in prayer, humility, commitment, and service.

This active learning environment will encourage young leaders to learn from each other, to connect with ministries worldwide, and to deepen their faith. The gathering will also function as a catalyst and provide a platform for continued growth and connection as part of an ongoing virtual community of leaders.

The four goals are:

1. Informed: to know what the state of the gospel is worldwide, what are the needs and who is doing what.

2. Developed: younger leaders want to know spiritually and personally, so in turn they can develop other young leaders.

3. Inspired: by God's ideas, by the challenges that lay before them, to finish the task.

4. Connected: to meet, network and partner with others from around the world, to pray, worship, and just be together with this unique group of like-minded young leaders.
