NEW YORK- Chinese Christians at Brooklyn area in New York gathered to pray for the development of urban missions, their hearts are revived and are ready to face more challenges.

Organized by the Short Term Mission Center, the prayer meeting aims to pray for the urban missions that is going to be further developed. One of the speakers based in Brooklyn shared that there are around 200,000 Chinese living in Brooklyn, however, the total number of Chinese churches is just over 10. He encouraged all Christians to be awake and be passionate in mission ministry.

The prayer topics for urban missions include the followings:

- To pray that God will change the spiritual environment of Chinese in Brooklyn

- To pray that Chinese people will come to know the limitation of human life so that they may have a heart of seeking the Lord

- To pray that Chinese Christians will raise up and have a passionate heart to preach the Gospel

"Every time, as we go to evangelize, it is a very difficult spiritual battle, however, we believe the Lord has given us strength and the power to change lives through this prayer meeting," missionary Leung from the Short Term Mission Center said.
