France will go head-to-head with Nigeria in the Last 16 of the 2014 World Cup, and their top players Patricia Evra, Mathieu Debuhy and Yohan Cabaye, part of the team that scored eight goals in the first two games, are all expected to return from missing the game against Ecuador.

Monday's game will begin at 9 a.m. PST and will be broadcasted through the ESPN network. France vs. Nigeria match can also be watched online through live stream (free for subscribers) at the live stream below.

The last time that France played Nigeria was in 2009, where the latter won 1-0. According to the history of the past eight tournaments, if France get out of the group, they are likely to go to the semi-finals or beyond. And they are the favorite against the improving Nigeria as they wield a lethal counter-attack offense.

For Nigeria, if they win today's match they will proceed to the quarter-finals for the first time in their history. If looking at the past, the Nigerians have only won once in the last 11 World Cup games, but an upset win is entirely possible as the African nations for the first time have two teams, Nigeria and Algeria, to enter the Second Round.

The winner of the match will proceed to play against whichever team wins the Germany vs. Algeria match today. And the favorite for that match is Germany.
