The game will be televised on ESPN, Fox Sports Southwest, and YES network.

In a season full of injuries, Yankee's Shane Greene was called to the mound two weeks ago when he began a spotless record of allowing just two runs over 13 1/3 innings while carrying a no-hitter through 4 2/3 innings. The rookie became the first Yankees pitcher to work at least six innings and allow four hits or fewer in each of his first two Major League starts, according to MLB.com.

Greene will start against the Rangers.

"I think it's everyone involved," said manager Joe Girardi, commenting on New York's 21-23 home record. "It's a team effort, because there's gonna be days where pitchers struggle a little bit. They pick them up offensively, so I think it's everyone. It's gonna take everyone in that clubhouse to play better at home."

For the Rangers, right-hander Miles Mikolas (0-2, 10.05 ERA) will make his fourth start of the season for Texas after surrendering five runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Los Angeles Angeles.

Yankees veteran Carlos Beltran hyperextended his right elbow in May, so has served exclusively as a designated hitter. While he could make his return to the outfield, he would need more time as he began experiencing forearm tightness when he attempted to resume throwing last month.

"It is what it is," Beltran said. "I have to come to the ballpark and focus on the things that I can control right now, and right now I'm not playing in the outfield, so I cannot be thinking about that. I've got to be thinking about [how] DH-ing is my job, and I need to just focus on that."

Yankees captain Derek Jetter has announced that the 2014 season is his last year before retirement earlier this month. Thus, for the Yankee die hard fans or that of five time World Series champion Jetter, every Yankees game from now hold a significance as it will be the last time that they see their baseball icon play in Major League Baseball.

The game will begin at 4:05 p.m. PST and fans can watch the game online through live stream by clicking here.
