'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Spoilers, Midseason Premiere Date: Where Will they go?

All of The Walking Dead Fans are looking forward to the show's return, especially after the death of Beth on the show's mid-season finale.  There will be some changes in The Walking Dead's Season 5 cast.  Compiled are some spoilers before The Walking Dead's February 8th Premiere Date.

According to Enstarz, the actor that plays Tyrese, Chad Coleman, has opened up about the second half of season five and revealed that "the characters are going to go through even more hell".  Some of the hell is something that we discussed in a previous aricle, with the character of Daryl.  No doubt he is feeling a lot of emotional turmoil after the death of Beth, and it is unknown how someone like him will react.  There are shots of the character Maggie giving Daryl a "death stare" in a new promo video, which could mean their relationship is about to go cold.

Norman Reedus, the actor who plays Daryl, has stated more when it comes to the direction of the show.  He said that the characters used to operate out of fear, but when the season returns, they'll be running toward the danger and "hitting things head on".

There are other rumors about the cast, as Venture Capital Post says that a new teaser video does not show characters like Carl, Judith, Father Gabrial, and Noah.  It is possible that some of these characters could be killed (or in the show's case, made a zombie) before this season's end.  Considering that Judith died in the comic book series during the plotline involving the Governor, it will be interesting to see what develops on the television show's version.

The direction it appears to be going is toward the Alexandria safe zone, which was an area where Rick and his friends "settled down" for a while before an eventual zombie invasion caused them to leave.  The survivors then went on to another town, and this is where Rick decides that he really wants to be proactive and try to re-build society.  Unfortunately, there is one thing in his way: Negan, and Celebrity Dirty Laundry has reported he might be a new bad guy

Those who know the comic book know that Negan is a nasty man who robs any settlement that he can find just to feed his face and his followers.  He has showed up in the past few years in the comics, so it might be too early to say that he will show up in season 5, as the group has not gone through the whole "Alexandria safe-zone" storyline yet.  With the way things are going, it would probably take an entire season to go through that Alexandria story, and then start with the whole Negan plotline.

The show follows its graphic novel source material, with a few deviations.  It looks like the team is headed to Washington DC, even though Eugene's story of a cure for the zombies is a lie.  It would be quite interesting if the team went to the ruins of D.C., but that would require a lot of special effects to pull off.

Much will be revealed, spoiler-wise, when The Walking Dead Season 5 part 2 returns on AMC on February 8th
