Among various fan theories circulating about the "Star Wars" universe, one thing that is considered as an interesting one is the secret of Poe Dameron's jacket.

According to a Tumblr user, who goes by the username @youneedapilot, a text written on Dameron's jacket said "Pull to inflate."

When the outer vest of Dameron's jacket is carefully scrutinized, one would see some "gibberish" under the Resistance logo. According to Cinema Blend, that is called Aurebesh, which is the most common written language in the "Star Wars" universe.

As per the publication, translating the text was challenging at first, because the pattern did not appear to match the current alphabet symbols for the language. It was then revealed that the letters were actual upside down and backward, so the person donning the vest will not be able to read the text.

The secret behind Dameron's jacket is now viewed as a fun Easter egg, which may also contribute to the translation of past and future written word in "Star Wars." With the people at Lucasfilm's props team who made the vest with complete and precise warning label, the text itself became parallel to its function.

Also, the person who spent time translating the message for people to see the level of detail that the prop department had gone through is also viewed as prodigious.

In line with the upcoming "Star Wars" film, the next one to follow J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is Gareth Edwards' "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." It centers on Rebels setting out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.

Fans have already had some knowledge of what to expect from the costumes of the cast of the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." According to previous reports, some of the costumes gave hints on the characters' potential role in the film, such as Diego Luna's costume, which resembled Han Solo's suit while the latter was in Hoth, and Jiang Wen's costume, which is expected to deliver a heated battle in the film.

Unlike Dameron and the other characters in Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," the characters of Edwards' "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" are coded.

According to previous reports, Felicity Jones, who is the main star of the film, gets the code Green Seal Leader while Wen gets Seal Communicator Blue. Forest Whitaker's code is Eel Commander while Alan Tudyk gets the code Seal Droid. It is believed that these codes are hints of what kind of characters the cast members are going to play in the film.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" serves as the first film in the "Star Wars" anthology series. It centers on the Rebels as they set out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.

The film stars Jonathan Aris, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Luna, Tudyk, Wen, Whitaker, and Jones.

Edwards' "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Dec. 16. Johnson's "Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated to premiere on Dec. 15, 2017, while Trevorrow's "Star Wars: Episode IX" hits theaters on May 24, 2019.
