‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 22 Updates: Broncos’ Von Miller Getting Fined By Partner For Farting

Professional dancer and choreographer Witney Carson has imposed a new fine on her "Dancing with the Stars" partner Von Miller. According to the deal between the two, the Denver Broncos linebacker will have to pay her $100 every time he passes gas during their rehearsals.

Apparently, the pro football player's flatulence has become a big problem for Carson that she had to resort to issuing fines.

"Witney's fining me for farting," Miller said during Monday's episode according to the Denver Post. "At this point I think she's taking advantage of me."

"I'm going to start charging for swear words," Carson added. "I'm going to be so rich by the end of this."

Interestingly, this is not the first fine system implemented by Carson on her partner. Earlier this month, TV Guide reported that Carson has been having problems with Miller's tardiness during their practice sessions.

As a solution, the professional dancer turned to the method commonly used by NFL teams in disciplining their players.

"I asked him what happens in the NFL when you're late," Carson said. "And he told me. So I said 'Well, that's exactly what I'm going to do."

As noted by Carson, Miller has to pay her $100 for every minute that she's late. Although it has drastically improved the athlete's punctuality, Carson has already managed to collect $1,500 from her partner. She said that the money she gets from Miller's fines will be donated to a charity.

Even though it may seem that Carson has to resort to strict measures in disciplining her partner, the two have a dynamic relationship on the dancefloor. She even praised Miller for his natural talent in dancing and his quick-learning abilities especially when it comes to their routine's choreography.

"I was excited to hear I had an athlete," she said. "I know in the past athletes do well, and Von proved that point. He's very agile and really coordinated. He picks up choreography quick, and he's so big! So, when in doubt I just have him lift me and toss me in the air."

As for other news about the show, CNN reported that the first contestant voted off this season is Fox senior correspondent Geraldo Rivera.
