Samsung's "Unpacked" event is scheduled to begin today at 11 a.m. (EST) in New York City, and Samsung has confirmed yesterday the launch of Galaxy Note 7. Samsung's "Unpacked" event is scheduled to begin today at 11 a.m. (EST) in New York City, and Samsung has confirmed yesterday the launch of Galaxy Note 7. To offer potential buyers a direct access to its latest smartphone, Samsung is providing a 360-degree live streaming experience, where fans can watch on mobile, desktop, and virtual-reality.

Samsung has created channels for interested viewers to watch on their mobile devices, Samsung Gear VR, desktop PC computers, laptops for both Android and iOS. The channels can be accessed on Samsung's official Galaxy page - Samsung.com/galaxy - or on Samsung Mobile on YouTube - in 360 Live Stream format. As for viewers wanting to watch on their virtual-reality headsets Gear VR, they can download the "Unpacked 360 View app" from the Oculus Store, and launch the app when the event begins.

Following the launch event today, Samsung will update all of the Galaxy Note 7 information on their official Samsung Galaxy site.

For viewers logging in to the official Samsung Galaxy Unpacked live streaming page, they can watch a replay of Samsung Unpacked event held in Barcelona earlier this year, where the South Korea tech giant released the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, and Gear 360.

According to the Samsung's president of mobile division, Samsung's inspiration comes from listening and understanding what the millions and billions of their customers want in their products to enrich their lives.

According to rumors and leaks reported up until today, the Galaxy Note 7 will come with an advanced iris scanner that is expected to enhance security for users when looking at their phablet. It will also have a dual-edge curved display, similar to that of Galaxy S7 Edge. The specs are a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, and may be incorporated with a Samsung Exynos 8893 processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. It also comes with 4 GB of RAM. The dimensions are 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm while its weight comes at 168 grams. The device also comes with the new S Pen that will reportedly improve functionality; it had also undergone a significant redesign for waterproof capabilities. As for the camera, it is integrated with a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, similar to the cameras found on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
