It was recently noted that Christian music band Kutless will perform at this year's Summer 2004 Olympics in conjunction with InTheBible.com to be held in Greece.

The first show will be August 27th at the city center, "Omonia Square," and the second, August 28th at the base of the Acropolis in the shadow of Mars Hill, called "Monastiraki," and the third will be on August 29th at "Koropi."

The first preceding shows will be sponsored by Virgin Megastores and Metropolis Megastores and shows will receive active on-air radio coverages by Christian radio stations KLOVE, Air-1 and Christian media group Effect Radio Networks. In the final show on August 29, the band will serve and play for over 2,500 missionaries from around the world.

These world-scale performances at the Olympics will keep the band busy this spring and summer, who just recently released their second album, Sea of Faces, earlier this year in mid-February 2004, selling around 70,000 copies. Their second single, ¡°Sea of Faces¡± broke into the Top 5 on CHR radio this week, and the song is currently #14 on the AC charts after release on the radio 4 weeks ago.

Kutless has received experience of touring, having just partnered with Thousand Food Krutch on relentless tours, X2004 and Thorn Clothing Sea Of Faces Tour, which played 45 shows to an average attendance of 1,200. Plans to produce a third record will take place after completing 35 performances this summer at major festivals and events.
