Sanctus Real Named R & R's Most Played Rock Artist of 2004!

R & R's Most Played Rock Artist of 2004 is, Sanctus Real! The band from Toledo, OH climbed the charts with their hit single "Everything About You" and by the end of 2004, were at the top of critic's choice lists. This was an unforgettable year for the band whose captivating live performances has garnered many

accolades from groups such as, CCM, Christian Music Planet, Breakaway, and many more. They launched their second tour on Jan. 14 which features the band Hawk Nelson.

The year 2004 was a fortunate year for the band Sanctus Real of Sparrow Records. The band experienced a series of firsts and found themselves on top of the best of lists by year's end and was named R & R's Most Played Rock Artist of 2004. The band has become well known for their captivating live performances and in support of their best-selling and critically acclaimed sophomore album, Fight The Tide, the band launched their second headline on Jan. 14 which featured rising Tooth & Nail band Hawk Nelson.

This was the first time Sanctus Real was ever named Most Played Rock radio artist by R & R. The band's highlights for the year include; "Everything About You" (No. 1 for eight weeks) which topped both the R & R and CHR Rock charts and "Beautiful Day" (No. 1 for four consecutive weeks) just to name a few.

Their hit single "Everything About You" rose as high as No.4 on R & R's Christian Rock 2004 and it also climbed to No. 10 on Christian CHR 2004 Year-End Chart. "Beautiful Day" rose to No. 15 on R & R's Christian Rock 2004 Year-End Chart while the band's current single "Things Like You" continues to climb the charts and their new Rock single, "Alone," was recently No. 3 on the charts.
