NASHVILLE, Tenn. – LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention releases a guide to ministering to men. The instructional handbook, named, “Drawing Men to God: Men’s Ministry Manual” provide practical instruction for starting or strengthening a men’s ministry.

According to Lifeway staff Sid Woodruff, this “how-to” guide illustrates a step-by-step process that churches can follow to build a prayer-based, Christ-centered ministry; many men’s ministries struggle in establishing personal connections between the individuals and the Great Commission of God. Drawing Men to God helps integrate and implement evangelism, discipleship, ministry and missions in the participating churches.

The guide offers direction in identifying and meeting the needs of men and developing a purpose statement for the ministry. To nurture a visionary men’s leadership, the manual also assists in ways to prepare leaders, and to prepare the congregants to have a mature relationship with God and ministry work. The guide also hopes to change men’s lives by celebrating God’s victory and purpose.

Drawing Men to God includes the guidebook and supplementary tools for organization and administration, charts, a sample survey, purpose statement guidelines and ideas for getting men involved
