As the world develops rapidly in technology, Christian organizations are also performing more efficiently at a higher speed with the developed computer skills.

According to Business Wire, Stellar Financial, Inc., a leading provider of web based philanthropic management software, today announced that The National Christian Foundation (NCF; www.NationalChristian.com) has deployed the NorthStar 500 Charitable Operations Management Platform as its primary software platform in managing donor services, grant and contribution management, accounting, investment management and donor marketing and communications.

The NorthStar 500 will provide NCF's donors with online access to real-time account information and automated donor account management features. NorthStar 500 also helps NCF's staff in organization as it unifies organizational data and streamline administrative processing within a single integrated system.

National Christian Foundation is a unique public charity that provides services and other necessary tools for people who wish to donate to Christian ministries. Managing over $400 million in assets, the foundation has distributed approximately $500 million to over 5,000 ministries and charities since 1982.

"Our mission has always emphasized security in Christian giving", said David Wills, Chief Executive Officer for NCF. "We provide a vehicle for Christians to give and feel safe about where the money would end up if anything should happen to them. Naturally, one of our primary obligations in fulfilling this mission is to continually find ways to manage our stewardship more efficiently from an administrative and investment perspective and to provide better services and charitable options to our donors. The NorthStar 500 system provides us with an integrated software solution that significantly advances that goal."

Using NorthStar 500, NCF donors can maintain their personal funds since they can access their accounts and many other functions which would allow them to manage at home without making calls to NCF staff. New donors can now set up accounts online.

"NCF was looking to enhance their donor services and provide increased visibility and transparency to the donor with regards to investments and internal processing of their contributions, grants and other transactions," said John Coogan, Managing Director of Stellar Financial. "With NorthStar 500's centralized accounting, automated daily pricing of investments and investment pools, and overall ability to integrate organizational administrative processes within a single system, we are proud to have helped them to accomplish this. We look forward to advancing NorthStar 500's capabilities even further to continue to provide increased efficiency to NCF and our other clients"

About The National Christian Foundation

The National Christian Foundation was established in 1982 as a 501 (c) (3) national community-type foundation to enable individuals to give easily, efficiently, creatively, and anonymously (if requested) to a variety of causes and organizations. NCF's staff assists donors by providing tools (such as NCF's website at www.NationalChristian.com), services, and expert counsel tailored around their individual charitable objectives. NCF also serves a network of local community foundations across the country by equipping them with expert charitable planning products and services. These public, non-profit, and tax-exempt NCF affiliates provide a vehicle for local residents to join together in support of causes and initiatives in their own communities and across the world.
