BERKELEY, CA.--This Wednesday, over 20 different Christian fellowships from the University of California, Berkeley will unite under the roof of First Presbyterian Church to hold the bi-annual Interpraise worship event.

Last year, over 1,000 students joined the mega-praise night. The event is sponsored by Unity in Christ, an umbrella fellowship for all the Christian organizations at Cal.

Fellowships at Berkeley such as Campus Crusade for Christ, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Victory Campus Ministries, Eastbay Christian Fellowship, Asian Baptist Student Koinonia, and many more will be attending the celebration of Christ’s inclusive love.

A worship band comprised of members from an array of fellowships will lead an audience of over an expected 1,000 students Wednesday. Dennis Cole (The Rock) will lead worship; James Han (Eastbay Christian Fellowship) will play the drums; Joanne Wang (Crossroads) will play the keyboard; Justin Camacho (Apostolos Campus Ministry) will play the bass; Jessica Fain (Good News Berkeley) will perform vocals along with Janice Lee (Fellowship in Christ Berkeley/ Korean Campus Crusade for Christ).

The members of the band will gather Monday night at 6 PM to practice before the big night so that many people can receive grace from the music. A speaker is also schedule to give a lecture.

The event will begin at 6:30 PM and will be free of charge.
