The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) Outdoor Ministries Conference will be held in Snowbird, Utah on October 20-24.

The conference is designed primarily for professionals in outdoor ministries with the purpose to train people how to serve while working and strengthening deep faiths in Jesus Christ.

Besides professionals in outdoor ministries, others, including staff, retired outdoor ministry professionals, board members, spouses and other leaders and friends of outdoor ministries are welcome to attend and participate.

The Association of Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Professionals (ALOMP) will be meeting in business sessions three times during the conference.

Networking sessions for Outdoor Ministry Board Members will be held on Thursday and Saturday during ALOMP Meetings #1 and #3.

The conference will be held in the Snowbird Village, set between mountains in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest's Little Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 8,000 feet. The setting is in a place of beauty and inspiration, where the minds will be invigorated, the spirits enlivened, and the bodies rejuvenated.
