Over hundred of Chinese evangelical Christians in Bay Area will be gathering on Monday for a prayer fellowship, with a focus on Chinese missions today.

The Bay Area Chinese Ministerial Prayer Fellowship will meet on May 1 at 10: 00 p.m. at Chinese for Christ Church of San Jose. This time, the Fellowship has invited the new international general director of Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF) Rev. Dr. Patrick Fung as the keynote speaker. He will share the theme "Looking at Chinese Missions Today from the History of Mainland China."

The Fellowship aims to receive visions on Chinese missions. Evangelical leaders also gather to enjoy fellowship and pray for each others’ ministries.

According to Rev. Job K. Lee, the annual retreat for the Fellowship will be organized very soon. This year’s theme is "Building on the Foundation of Truth." For San Francisco and South Bay, ministers will gather on June 8- 11 as Rev. John Hsu and Rev. Rev. Paul Shen are invited as speakers respectively. Rev. Hay Chun Maak will be leading the East Bay gathering on June 9-11.

Fung is now on his tour in the United States with the OMF. He is the main speaker for the annual Partnership for Asia Conference of OMF in Bay Area on April 28-29 at Redwood City. The theme "Planting Christ's Church in East Asia!" addresses about missions in various Asian countries.
