China Prayer Day: Prayer for China to Regain Strength

HONG KONG - On June 11th, a worship and prayer event is response to the Sichuan disaster titled “China Prayer Day” was held from 10am to 10pm at Cater Garden located at the Central District of Hong Kong.

Worship teams led the fellow believers in praise and worship, which attracted many of those passing by to join them. A prayer vigil was held later that night, where crowds of Christians in Hong Kong filled the entire plaza, praying for the Sichuan earthquake victims and the strengthening of China.

Besides the attendance of local Christian leaders, Lam Sui-lung, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, and various disaster relief personnel gave a sharing and then led the crowd in prayers.
