Tyrese Gibson, "Fast & Furious" co-star and Paul Walker's close friend, has reached out to the Walker's family to help with funeral arrangements, according to E! News.

After an emotional visit Sunday to the crash site where Walker died, Gibson, posted an "open letter to God" on his Facebook page Monday.

"Father God I love you, I trust you and honor your presence in and around my life..." he wrote. "I know I am still here for a purpose so use my up....I will do what you tell me to do ... Order my footsteps and I will walk."

He continued, "My heart is hurting badly but in this darkness you used me as a light with my brothers family tonight ..... Use me up father God I owe you."

On Tuesday, Gibson updated his Facebook with another post and shared what he learned after speaking to Bishop TD Jakes about healing and closure.

"Then I went online and came across this powerful word he spoke at a recent funeral and the word was 'I know it feels like death has won,'" he posted.

Gibson added, "BISHOP TD JAKES: In moments like this, it feels - it feels like death has won. But the bible says that love is stronger than death ... You look around and everybody you love and everybody you can count on and everybody you can trust seems to be slipping through your fingers... "

"Your tears may flow. Your pain may come. The flowers will wither. The cards will all be filed away. The phone will stop ringing. You'll be driving down the street one day and you'll hear Paul's voice talking in your head. Something he said or something he did will pop up in your spirit and you'll giggle inside of yourself as if he were sitting in the car with you. And you will find that people you really love, they may leave you outwardly, but they never leave you inwardly...Love will last forever, for God is love." he concluded.

More than 1.2 million people have "liked" this post, with more than 97,000 "Shares".

Paul Walker's father told KABC that Gibson was instrumental in helping the family grieve and couldn't say enough nice things about the singer.

Walker, 40, was killed in a fiery car crash on Saturday, along with his business partner Roger Rodas. The accident occurred shortly after the Fast and Furious star co-hosted a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide to raise money for victims affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.

He is survived by father Paul Walker III, mother Cheryl Walker, brothers Cody and Caleb, sister Ashley and 15-year-old daughter Meadow.

Walker's family and friends are waiting for the results of a coroner's autopsy on the actor's body.
