The San Francisco Giants will host the Los Angeles Dodgers today April 17 at 12:45 p.m. PT at the AT&T Park.

The Giants (10-5) won for the ninth time in 11 meetings with their NL West rival, 2-1 on Wednesday. Pablo Sandoval had two hits, including a tiebreaking single in the seventh, as San Francisco won its third straight in its six consecutive game decided by one run.

The Los Angeles' shortstop Hanley Ramirez was not in the starting lineup Thursday, but he said his bruised hand had improved enough overnight that he expects to play Friday night vs. the D-backs at Dodger Stadium.

Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu, who fell to 2-3 with a 3.89 ERA in six games versus the Giants, rebounded to beat Arizona last Friday. The 27-year-old scattered two hits and a walk over seven innings, striking out eight and combining with reliever Jamey Wright on a 6-0 shutout.
