The Avalanche have partially buried the Wild after Saturday's night 4-2 win in Game 2 in Denver. Colorado's Gabriel Landeskog, Paul Stastny and Nathan MacKinnon have together caused the most damage.

Wild's coach Mike Yeo will use the players in Game 3 that will best be able to slow down the Avalanche's trio before it is too late. The players charged with this task are veteran wing Matt Cooke and third line as well as Mikko Koivu.

In Game 1 and 2, MacKinnon scored a total of seven points. He has matched the NHL mark for the most in a player's first two career Stanley Cup Playoff games, according to NHL.com. Meanwhile, Wild forward Charlie Coyle has a goal in each game.
