"My faith in Jesus Christ was sealed after 7 years of wondering why God, I was born this way," he said." He answered me very clearly through John chapter 9."

To begin his sermon at friend Rick Warren's California Megachurch this past weekend, Nick Vujicic relates how he was touched by the story from the Bible where Jesus heals the blind man.

He said he could relate to the blind man, and that he started to understand how through a relationship with Jesus, he could be used to reach people for Christ.

He told of how, through that experience with God's word, it lead him to start evangelizing to youth groups.  One thing led to another, and now Vujicic is a worldwide evangelist who has been far and wide for Christ.  As a goal, He would like to reach every person on Earth.

Because he wears his limitations so well, and one can see those supposed disabilities transformed into great power for Christ right there on stage, you have to believe he can reach every person on Earth, too.  He relates to the audience so well, and he is very comfortable preaching Jesus.

If you don't know, Vujicic was born without arms and legs. He tells stories of being so broken down by bullies and sadness that he tried to commit suicide as a boy.  But he found purpose when he found God.   Since finding Christ at 15, he has been on a mission to inspire others to stand strong and rely on God.  He started Life Without Limbs, a global ministry, and preaches all over the world.  His message of peace, love and acceptance and finding purpose and inspiration through Jesus has touched millions around the world.

The message he gave at Saddleback was about rooting yourself in the Lord no matter your circumstances, and then running the race, your race, to the best of your ability.

"You never come to a point in your life with Jesus where you feel like you have had enough," he said.

The title of my message is "Stand Strong, and then Run with Jesus," he said.  He said that he just released a book directed to teens about standing strong against bullies, so the message is about standing strong and then running with Jesus leading the way.

"1 Corinthians 9, is where we are going to read," he said, starting at verse 24. "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize."

He explained how we are all destined to run our own unique race, but how we get distracted and lose focus and allow satan to steal our joy.

He said that we lose focus on our purpose of running the race.

"Some people are disabled by fear," he said. "They never start running."

"It's not about me and my abilities," he said." It's all about Jesus."

Vujucic went on to relate how he had witnessed miracles through Christ while evangelizing across the world.  He talked about how he witnessed a person being healed of a terribly crooked back after simple prayers.

He talks about waiting for his turn after witnessing the miracle but realizing that it wasn't God's plan for him to be healed right away, and that it wasn't just about him.

His ultimate message was about how, through Christ, you can accomplish God's purpose for you on Earth, and receive your reward in heaven.

"It not about being first, thank God for that," he said.

"When you don't get a miracle, you can be a miracle," he said.

Vujicic says that in order to run the race you have to use discipline and go to the word of God, and to pray to bring your life into focus.

"I read myself a Children's bible," he said." We got it because we were going to be parents."

He talked about how he and his wife use the kid's Bible to teach his 15 month old, but it taught him how to prepare for the day by getting in the Word.

He said in order to run the right race you have to be in the bible everyday.  He says that he is so happy to have God's plan leading his life instead of what he had in mind, and he want's that for everyone.

"Whether you believe it or not, God has a plan for you, too." he concluded. "Ask God for the faith to believe."
