While the Nexus 6 is rumored to be dead, a tweet on HTC's official Twitter account raises the possibility the Nexus 8 will soon be revealed.
The world was recently introduced to an HTC tweet on Monday promoting an unnamed device. The tweet cryptically stated, "more beautiful curves coming soon." On the bottom, there was a quotation from Victorian-era English poet Edward George-Bulwar Lytton that read, "In life, as in art, the beautiful moves in curves."
Although Google technically owns the Nexus 8, it has been rumored the device is actually designed by HTC -- suggesting the possibility of outsourcing. This latest tweet seems to support this rumor.
The actual meaning of the quote remains a mystery, but there is the possibility that it is a response to rival Apple's past association with the arts. Perhaps, HTC is trying to appeal to the art and media clique with this announcement. Then again, this observation is solely based on speculation.
Another rumor circulating is that the Nexus 8 may be making its first appearance at the upcoming Google I/O conference in June. Fan should practice cautious optimism, however, as the recently rumored Nexus 6 cancellation demonstrates. The Nexus 6 is believed to be the last in the Google Nexus line, and was subject to much hype and speculation in past months.

If that is true, then it makes perfect sense that Google is placing more attention on the Android Silver. The only question left is the price tag. In fact, we may very well see a sharp rise in prices across the board for all Google-offered mobile devices, as newer and faster processors are being implemented.
