USA -- The Southern Baptist International Mission Board continues to invest heavily in foreign mission fields around the world. IMB trustees recently adopted a 290 million dollar budget for 2003-it¯s largest budget in history. They also appointed 95 new missionaries, which is the second largest group of long-term workers ever appointed in a single service. However, the multi-million dollar missions project could ultimately restrict the flow of new missionaries to the field, since the project restricts the flow of new missionaries to the field.
