Fan Appreciation Week Day Three: Jeremy Lin Dunks on His Mom

On day three of Jeremy Lin's Fan Appreciation Week, the NBA star challenged fans to create a "Dunk Cam" video. While Lin has yet to name a winner, his own #JLinDunkCam video has gone viral on social media.

Jeremy Lin is no novice when it comes to making funny YouTube videos. He and his friends seem to produce them quite frequently, allowing fans to take tiny peeks inside the basketball star's life and humor. Yesterday, Lin posted a video of himself dunking a mini-basketball on unsuspecting people and even on his own mother in the kitchen. He tweeted it to fans as a challenge for day three of his Fan Appreciation Week - "My video will give you guys a few ideas ... #JLinDunkCam #sorrymom #takenoprisoners," he said.

Lin has yet to announce the winner, but says that each video will be judged based on creativity, on performance, and on the intensity of post-dunk merriment which follows. The winner will receive an autographed pair of shoes.

Among those vying for the prize is Los Angeles ABC 7 news anchor Rob Fukuzaki, who filmed himself dunking on his producer, on an unsuspecting co-worker in the hallway, and on an enthusiastic meteorologist at the station.

For day four of Fan Appreciation Week, Lin will host a Facebook Q-and-A Thursday at 8 p.m. CST and a Weibo Q-and-A session at 2:30 p.m. CST.
