Nexus 6 Release Date for Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular (Pre-Order)

Google announced this week that it will open up pre-orders for the Nexus 6 every Wednesday until the official retail launch day of the anticipated smartphone, and Motorola just confirmed that it will also sell pre-orders through its site.

Ever since Google's Nexus 6 sold out of pre-order stock within its first few minutes of going live on October 29th, eager customers have been clamoring for more information on when they can get their own pre-order and, more importantly, when the device will actually launch. This new confirmation from Google can not only set a few mins at ease, but also give us a pretty good idea of when the phone is launching.

"We are getting more Nexus 6 devices in stock as soon as possible," the official Google Play Store landing page for the device states. "To make things simpler for you, we will work to make more devices available each Wednesday and encourage you to visit the site then."

Of course, since this is listed on the Google Play Storepage, it refers only to those phones you buy directly from Google. Luckily, the statement goes on to explain a bit more information on availability directly from the U.S. carriers.

"The Nexus 6 will also be available in AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular stores later in November. Please check with your local carrier store for more information."

While this is certainly good news for those users looking to get a contract with those four carriers, but you may notice the distinct lack of Verizon Wireless in that sentence. This mostly likely means that Verizon's Nexus 6 will land in December, but with no confirmation, it could even be 2015. The good news, though, is that the Google Play Store version can be used with any carrier, so if you're a Verizon customer, you might want to camp out on the Google Play Store page for your chance at a pre-order.

T-Mobile, on the other hand, is the only one of the Nexus 6's carriers that has already spilled the beans on a release date last week. The announced November 12th release date from the company means that T-Mobile will be the first U.S. carrier to offer the Nexus 6.

But since November 12 is a Wednesday, and T-Mobile will be first, that means we could see the other carriers release the phone on the 19th or 26th of this month.
