WWE Rumors and Predictions 2015: Fast Lane & Wrestlemania 31 Spoilers - Triple H vs. Sting

Feb 20, 2015 08:27 PM EST

The WWE Fast Lane pay-per-view (PPV) event will take place on February 22, 2015 at the FedEx forum in Memphis, Tennessee.  This tough act to follow will be followed-up by Wrestlemania 31, set for March 29th at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.  Here are the Fast Lane 2015 predictions that we know, as well as some WWE Wrestlemania Rumors.

One big event that has been confirmed is that Sting has already accepted the challenge to meet Triple H face-to-face, according to Realty Today.  Sting definitely did not make a good impression on Triple H in an appearance of a match involving John Cena.  Sting helped Cena against Kane, Big Show, as well as Seth Rollins in a three-on-one handicap match.

There are seven matches that are booked for the card, according to Sports World News, this includes four title bouts and a main event that will pit 2015 Royal Rumble Match winner Roman Reigns against Daniel Bryan to determine the number one contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.  Brock Lesnar was able to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena and Seth Rollins in the Triple Threat Match for the WWE grand prize.  Now Lesnar is going to have a title match with Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns in what could be considered a big event for pay-per-view, possibly the biggest for WWE.

Other possibilities for matches include Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose, which could have been saved for WrestleMania 31, but the feud between them could easily reach to a head.  Speaking of feuds, there has long been a feud between the brothers of Goldust and Stardust, both of them are WWE stars, and it would be interesting and intriguing to finally see a bout between the two of them.

Then there is the Tag Team Championships with The Usos w/Naomi vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro with Natalya.  These are teams that have been also feuding a lot within the last few months.

Now let's talk about John Cena, the WWE frontman.  Cena currently is trying to sell an eye injury, and it looks like he might be able to go up against Rusev, who is apparently the immovable object and irresistible force for this year.  If they clash now, then they will probably clash again at WrestleMania 31.

Thursday's SmackDown promised this coming Six-Man Tag Match which consists of Seth Rollins, Kane, and Big Show vs. Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan.  This one was kind of predicted, but I have yet to hear about the Random Filler Divas match that was also predicted.

So the question remains, will Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns reign at Wrestlemania 31 in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?  If so, then this could be the end of Brock Lesnar, as there are doubts he will remain in the WWE after Wrestlemania 31, according to Inquistir.

Another event that will occur is that the WWE plans to bring back the battle royal match that was seen at Wrestlemania 30 just last year, according to Wrestlezone. What is not known is if the match will be labeled the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, as a tribute to the late wrestler.  Whatever it is called, this battle royal match could be an annual Wrestlemania bout.
