Starting April 16, Xbox Live Games with Gold is continuing with two new games for the Xbox 360. Those who own Xbox One consoles will get to keep their free games. That means that are currently four free games available until the end of April.

Those curious about the Games with Gold free games list for May will have to wait. Microsoft usually unveils the free game every last Thursday of the month. So, gold subscribers will have to wait until April 29 for further details.

Previously, there were two free Xbox 360 games - Gears of War: Judgment and Terraria. As of April 15, those games are no longer available. So, subscribers who missed out on those titles have simply lucked out. In the sections below, we will look at the remaining free games for this month.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (Xbox 360), April 16-31

This is the third game in the Army of Two third-person shooter series. Unlike the previous two games, enterprising mercenary duo Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios will not be available as playable characters. The plot instead focuses on the exploits of two military operatives named Alpha and Bravo. Even so, Salem and Rios will make a cameo appearance in the main story. Customization features include masks, outfits, and weapons upgrade. Gameplay revolves around a single-player campaign and multiplayer.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox 360), April 16-31

The sixth major installment in the Assassin's Creed saga follows the story of notorious pirate Edward Kenway, grandfather of protagonist Ratonhnhaké from Assassin's Creed III. The gameplay includes melee combat, stealth, and freerunning - just like in the previous installments. Players will also take command of large sailing vessels bristling with 18th century firepower such as cannons and swivel-guns. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag features an open world setting during the Golden Age of Piracy. Maps include oceans, exotic isles, period-accurate towns, and lost civilizations.
