Finally, gaming fans can now play their favorite Tekken 7 on Xbox and PlayStation platform after Cyberland has confirmed that the game would be available on those platforms by August 2015.

"It can now be confirmed that Tekken 7 would be available on the consoles by August," wrote Cyberland as it added that its source Bandai Namco has confirmed that the Japanese gaming giant has allegedly set the Tekken 7 release date for the PS4 and Xbox One in Q3 2015.

A report by KDRAmastars.com also said that Bandai Namco's Katsuhiro Harada has confirmed that a Tekken 7 PC release is being considered by the company.

An independent report by Attackofthefanboy.com, cited an interview by Korean web site Inven with Harada where the Japanese executive said that Bandai Namco is "considering a PC version for certain countries that prefer or need to play on PC". The report said that Harada's statement was a strong indication that Tekken 7 will eventually be ported to the PC in the coming months.

Early this month, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Tekken 7 fighter, Yoshimitsu, which fans described as creepier than before, reported Gamespot.com. Yoshimitsu has already undergone several redesigns over the year, and he was given a new look in Tekken 7. Yoshimitsu's design has retained his basic core move, including his signature pogo stick-like hopping on the tips of his sword. But he now looks a mix between an octopus and an alien.

Yoshimitsu is one of the most recognizable characters from the Tekken franchise and is loved by fans of the game because of his unique fighting style. His menacing new look is expected to excite fans of Tekken 7, reported Ubergizmo.com.

In late March, Bandai Namco Games' revealed three new characters in Tekken 7, including a female fighter from the Philippines named Josie Rizal. Rizal's character was developed by Mari Shimazaki and Mad Catz's Mark "Markman" Julio who has his roots from the Philippines, said Crossmap.com.

As a Filipina fighter, Josie Rizal is an expert in using the Eskrima fighting style, known in the Philippines as arnis. Her character was made possible after Markman pitched about the idea to Harada and provide him inputs about the Filipino culture, as well as the name of her character, including her many traits.

In Tekken 7, Jin Kazama's character was made playable in the arcade platform on March 31 and Devil Jin was officially introduced on April 7 Josie's character was originally scheduled to be released on first week of May.

It was still unclear if a leaked image of a male fighter is actually an alternate costume for a returning fighter or a new fighter altogether.

The launch of Tekken 7 was announced last year. The game is powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 4 and hits Japanese arcades last March.
