Game developer Techland has announced the release of Dying Light DLC on May 26 for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for $10 USD / 10 EUR / 7 GBP.

The next installment of Dying Light is called The Bozak Horde. The DLC, or downloadable content, takes players inside the Harran Stadium where they will participate in a series of challenges and meet a maniacal man called Bozak, reported IGN.com.

According to the report, developers of Dying Light created the game in a DLC format to allow cooperative play amongst players for up to four people. It also features a new location and a compound hunting bow.

Dying Light is next generation a first-person, action survival horror game set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, the hunter becomes the prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression - but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their nests to feed.

Players of Dying Light will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn. Developed by the team behind the first Dead Island game, this new title for PC and next-gen consoles is the biggest and most ambitious project in Techland's history.

According to Gamespot.com, Techland developed the new installment of Dying Light with a horde mode in mind. It added that "Bozak Horde adds a new game mode where you'll face waves of enemies inside of a new area (Harran Stadium) as part of a game set up by someone named Bozak. You'll be able to do this on your own or with a group of up to four players--though it sounds as if the latter is the preferred method for tackling it."

The report explained the co-op mode of Dying Light will see "a team of four seasoned survivors" face difficult challenges so they can showcase their skills through the new leaderboards.

Players who can defeat an entire horde of zombies will be rewarded "the ultimate stealth weapon," a compounding hunting bow, developers of the Dying Light said. Using the stealth weapons, gamers of Dying Light can unlock new arrow types, including electric, incendiary, and exploding, when they complete other objects.

But even as the Dying Light: The Bozak Horde is still days away from its official release, the game continues to receive volumes of contents from the gaming community and the great set of modding tools, reported Gamingbolt.com.
