Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is going to be a large-scale epic multiplayer warfare set on the iconic planets of the Star Wars movie, book, TV, and comic book franchise that is owned wholly by Disney.  Star Wars Battlefront 3 will have a Release Date just before Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits the theaters, and its DLC Update will actually tie-in to the film itself!

According to the Latinos Post, Star Wars: Battlefront 3 intends to give everything that the first two Star Wars Battlefront games will have, and more.  Players can choose to play as a first person or third person shooter, and they can play as a Rebel or Empire, depending on what they want.  The game also has a 64 player only multiplayer mode, and players can even control bigger characters by spending points.

On the other hand, PC Gamer states that players of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 can play as different races such as humans, Sullustans, and Ishi Tib and pilot classic Star Wars vehicles like the AT-AT Walker and Y-Wing bombers.  Unfortunately, there will be no space battles.

We also know that the first map downloadable content (DLC) will include the planet of Jakku, the planet that has been on display on the trailer for The Force Awakens.  On the trailer there is a scene where the Millenium Falcon flies into a wrecked Star Destroyer, and Star Wars: Battlefront 3 actually shows how that Star Destroyer got there.

The Star Wars Battlefront series has a reputation of ending too early, according to Gamerant.  The game is about fighting through enemy ranks for domination and control of maps that are key locations in the Star Wars films is definitely what Star Wars fans and gamers truly want to see.  There was a leak of alpha footage that showed both Hoth and Endor, two locations of battles from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, respectively. There are actually about 12 locations that players will be able to battle on.

Apparently, Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was going to be released shortly after Battlefront II, which was over 10 years ago, but it was scrapped.  The fact that it was revived has given Star Wars fans loving the idea of reviving the currently scrapped Star Wars 1313, which was supposed to be a dark and gritty game taking place within the Star Wars universe. According to Venture Capital Post, they say that this is the "most expensive" Star Wars game in history, and it certainly is the most expansive.

According to Yahoo Games, EA has a ten-year deal with the Star Wars franchise owner Disney that started in 2013 for games based on the popular franchise, developed by two of its marquee studios that include Battlefield series outfit DICE and Visceral Games, creators of the Dead Space series.

Look for Star Wars: Battlefield 3 on November 17, 2015 for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One, about a month before the release date of the seventh official Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.  If EA is smart, then they will have Star Wars: Battlefield 3 available to play for attendees of E3 2015.  E3 is the Electronic Entertainment Expo held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center every summer, and it is happening on June 16-18.
