Ever since THQ went under, 2K Games has the rights to make WWE games.  Last year's model had a lot of new improved graphics, and it looks like WWE 2K16 will have even more improved graphics.  The roster is also going to be very impressive, and this is what is known about the WWE 2K16 release date and roster, as well as some pre-order information.

According to Tech News Today, 2K Games announced on its Facebook page that the next installment in the WWE series will be arriving in the Fall.  This developer has promised that the upcoming game will have the largest roster of characters in the history of the WWE video games.

The Latin Post says that 2K Games has revealed some news about WWE 2K16 at E3 2015.  E3 is the Electronic Entertainment Expo held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the most recent one was last week.  It was here where 2K announced the initial six players that will be part of the game, and they are from WWE, NXT, and the WWE Divas and include:  Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett, Paige, and Finn Balor.

In addition to the massive player roster, 2K Games promises that there will be huge upgrades to the title, which includes better graphics and visuals to make fighting on the virtual mat a lot more realistic.  For example, the wrestler Steven Chase was contracted to shoot for 12 days to developers could get his movements for motion capturing.

The new version of the game will have a new mode that is called "Create A Finisher" which will allow players to personalize their wrestler and their moves.  There are also reports that the players will be able to celebrate victories with prizes and belts for added realism.

So far, there has not  been a lot of information given on any new developments for the game.  In fact, it is not known what famous WWE star will be on the cover.  There also has not been any announcement of any pre-order bonuses.  Last year, those that ordered early received the legendary wrestler Sting.

It has been reported by several sources that last year's WWE 2K15 was somewhat of a disappointment due to lack of game modes, the graphics and movements of player characters, and the constant delay of DLC (downloadable content).  This time, it appears that 2K games has begun to listen to its fans to really produce an improved work.

For those that want to pre-order the game, you can go to the GameStop site and purchase WWE 2K16 for the PS4, the Xbox One, the PS3, and the Xbox 360.  At this present time, there is no word of a PC release.  The game will officially become available on October 27, 2015.
