The release date of the latest all-star Captain America: Civil War from Marvel Studios will be on May 6, 2016, but this early, fans are getting excited from the plethora of information, including leaked photos and teaser.
Speaking at the recent D23 Expo in Anaheim, Disney's answer to the E3 Convention, Chris Evans, who plays the titular role Capt. Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, with co-star Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Falcon) excitedly described the next franchise installment, Captain America: Civil War, as different from other Marvel movies.
For one, it features an all-star cast. And second, it will showcase unlikely allies, where foes become friends and friends become foes.
A majority of the Marvel films, it's clear to know who's right and who's wrong," Evans told EW. "This is one of the first movies where it's parallel to the arguments, I think, we have in life where nobody's right, nobody's wrong. It's just a matter of opinion."
Captain America: Civil War will be pitting Avengers against each other that will divide the opinion of fans.
Picking up from where the Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, Steve Rogers leads a new breed of Avengers to protect Earth from all forms of threats even from outside our Solar System. However, an international incident involving the Avengers put pressure for the team of superheroes to be more accountable for their action. Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downy Jr.) wanted the superheroes to have more accountability for their actions but Capt. Steve Roger seems to be unwilling to compromise but is more than willing to work outside the government system after the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s betrayal in Captain America: Winter Soldier.
"It's tricky. This is one of those movies - where the majority of the Marvel's films it's clear to understand who's right and who's wrong. First Captain America, Nazis are bad. First Avengers aliens are no good." Evans went on to say, "This is one of the first movies where it's parallel to the arguments, I think, we have in life where nobody's right, nobody's wrong. It's just a matter of opinion."
Evans told the crowd, "It's so good. I love it," during the presentation of the new footage that sent the crowd cheering wildly, said the Mirror.
The short footage showed Captain America, Falcon and Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) engaged in a hands-on battle against Frank Grillo's Crossbones in a crowded square. Crossbones is a powerful enemy with a powerful punch, reported AP. Captain America's team also include Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff), while Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr.) also have War Machine/Col. James Rupert "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle).
Leaked Photo Reveals Unlikely Alliance
A leaked photo of Captain America: Civil War circulating the Internet is getting too much attention. The photo shows Capt. Steve Roger's two best buddies, Falcon and Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. the Winter Soldier in one big scene together running, either towards or from someone or something, revealed Screen Rush.
It would be very interesting to watch the trio of Captain America, Falcon and the Winter Soldier going up against Iron Man and the Hulk (Bruce Banner) in the next Captain America: Civil War. I can't wait until May next year.
